Footings and Foundation

Date: December 6, 2007 - The existing cottage came down in about 30 minutes. Alpers Excavation completed the job and the site was great.

The septic system has been started.  With the high ground water we are set to install a "bermed" system.  This means that the tanks and the field are above the ground and filled over.

The system will be covered with sand and then black dirt.

The footings are set and the forms are almost ready for the pour.

December 18, 2007  -  The foundation wall forms are being placed and the new house is taking shape.  The poured walls go up fast and give a great base to work from.
