New!!! - Project Status

Tuesday, April 10, 2007 - After the snow storm last week and 12 inches of snow, we are now back out and working on the exterior decks.

The IPE decking is installed at the entry deck location and the sides have also been covered.  this gives a nice look as you walk up to the house.

The Ceramic tile base is installed at the master bathroom and the grout has started.  They are working on the balance of the tile base on the lower level.

The kitchen cabinets have most of the misc. trims installed now.  The light valence is in place and looks great.  The trim between the upper cabinets and the soffit are also installed.

The ceiling beam is trimmed out and the skylights have been "tapered" into the openings as needed.  The angle trim pc that we placed around the beam at the vertical locations worked out very well.

The IPE decking installation.

Wednesday, April 4, 2007 - The IPE decking is down on the lakeside deck and looking very nice with the color of the siding on the Cottage.

A few birdseye views from the upper deck looking down on the lower deck.

you can see the step and the kick board placed at the entry to the Dining Room.  The IPE will be placed at the vertical face of the deck bond also.

These pictures where taken before the snow started today.  At the time of this posting we have 6" of new snow on the ground and more to come.  Boy, don't you just love Michigan???!?

The crew is working on all the trim and the balance of the trim that needs to be completed.  Its alot warmer in the house.
